This year, two huge developments are coming to the Webtron Online Auction system, and we just can’t wait to share them with you.Â
New Feature #1 – Webcast 5.0
In 2015, we were one of the first to market with Webtron 4.0, a live webcast option that allowed mobile bidding on Any Device, Any Where and Anytime. This was a huge development at the time, offering bidders the option to bid on their iPhones, iPads and Android phones and tablets using apps during a live webcast auction. The ability for bidders to hear live audio streaming through their phones was huge in the industry – and now in 2017 we’re taking that development one step further.Â
With Webtron 4.0, it was compulsory for clients to have “Live Bidding Apps” in order to bid at an auction. There were many benefits to this, including having the client’s brand on the devices of their bidders.
With recent technological advancements, we’ve been able to make these apps optional for our bidders.
For you, this new feature means:
improved accessibility across multiple devices and browsers,
simplicity for your online auctions; and
a more modern design interface for both mobiles, tablets and desktop computers
 After the release of 5.0, apps will then be rebuilt to include push notifications, alerting bidders when a live auction is about to start. This will take place as part of a later development. Exciting!

New Feature #2 – Webtron VendorPlus+Â
Webtron VendorPlus+ is a completely new and innovative concept suggested to us by our existing customers. It will allow your vendors to add their own lots to the online auction system, using an intuitive and user-friendly platform.
The new feature will allow for:
speedy data collection
streamlined lot data management,
reduced data handling and entry
VendorPlus+ will allow all of this will be achieved via one easy and secure login. It also means less work for your administrators – bonus!
